The purpose of Student Led Conference is to provide an opportunity for students to share their learning with parents.  There will be an agenda that the child will lead you through.  Student Led Conferences is not about showing parents a final, shiny product.  It's about showing their current state of learning.  Sometimes it looks messy.  Sometimes it looks unfinished.  Parents should be looking for progress, especially when thinking of their child from the fall.  Teachers have set their schedules.  Please watch for information from your child's teacher regarding the structure and times of the conferences.

To reduce distractions, we ask that you do not bring siblings into the classroom.  The conference should be focused on your child.  We have found that bringing siblings into the classroom can be distraction, not only to your child, but to other families.  Teachers will be asking siblings to wait in the hallway.

During conferences on Monday, younger siblings can wait in our music room/computer room near the office.

As part of our school goal, we are asking students to explain the Zones of Regulation display board near our library as part of their conference.

Please inform your daycare providers of our change in schedule.
