Dear Parents, Guardians and Students:
We are asking students to come to the school at specific designated times to retrieve their locker items next week. As all students will have the opportunity to come to school on a part-time basis beginning June 1st, we would like students to have all their school supplies and textbooks. To practice safe physical distancing and to avoid students congregating in the hallways, students will not be using lockers in June. We ask that students who come to the building for support, bring what they need with them to school and take their items home.
Students who have already taken advantage of the earlier opportunities to retrieve locker items do not need to take part next week. Students' belongings are ready for pick up. All locker items have been bagged and labelled. Students are to arrive at their designated time according to their grade and last name alpha. It is imperative that students collect their locker items as there will be a textbook, workbook, sheet music, and instrument return schedule beginning June 15th. Please note – this is not only for urgently needed items; this is a complete locker clean-out. Belongings that are not collected from lockers will eventually be donated to charity.

Example: Betty Kerd in grade 11, should come to school at 10:30 am on Wednesday May 27th. And Michael Zeng in grade 9, would come to school at 2:00 pm on Monday May 25th.
PINETREE SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENT ACCESS PROTOCOL
- Students must attend at the scheduled time that has been communicated in the chart. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Prior to coming to the building, if you begin to develop the following symptoms: fever, dry cough, or shortness of breath, please stay home and contact 8-1-1 or speak to your physician
- Do not bring pets with you.
- Stand in line practicing safe physical distancing (2 meters/6 feet apart). There will be chalk lines and signage to support physical distancing.
- Do not wander, meet with others, or congregate.
- Come through the courtyard to the main entrance ONLY. Students will not be going in the building. A runner will collect items from the locker and hand them over at the main entrance.
- Only one designated area will be used. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER ENTRY or EXIT DOORS.
- Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, and then throw out the tissue and sanitize your hands afterwards.
- Do not enter or leave the courtyard in groups.
- Follow all posted signage.
Please make sure to mark your calendars with your student's date and time for locker item pick-up. We hope everyone can attend. Our community's health and safety remain our number one priority. Thank you for your patience and support.
