The students and staff at GOAL are presenting a Free Clothing Give Away on Wednesday March 10th, 2009, at the Winslow Centre Gym, at 1100 Winslow. We have had many District 43 schools donate their lost and found items at the end of December and the items have been washed and sorted. The quality of the clothing is generally very good. The Free Clothing Give Away is open to all families; however, we have reserved the time from 9:10am to 10:00am for schools to bring especially needy kids or send school staff, social workers or SWIS workers to have first choice of needed clothing items for at risk students. From 10:00am to 11:30am on Wednesday March 10th, we will be open to the general public and intend to advertise broadly because we have so many items. Please feel free to let groups know of this opportunity and, if you wish, post the information in your monthly notices to parents. We have quality, lightly used clothing for students from 5 years of age to 18 years. There are all sizes of pants, many pairs of shoes in great shape, lunch boxes, gym shorts, gym bags, pack sacks, t-shirts, hoodies, hats and more!. Everything has been washed and it's all FREE!
