Pinetree peer tutors are dedicated students whose goals are to make students feel comfortable while learning. Senior students work alongside other students to help them catch up, stay in line, or at times get ahead in their studies. Peer tutors are available in all blocks of the day in the Learning Center located in upper A wing. Here tutors help students who come in for daily sessions or for an occasional one on one session. More experienced tutors are placed into various classrooms in order to be of help for the teachers and students. These students have commonly received a high mark in the class in previous semesters and are searching to help others. The student’s overall experience in learning is what counts for the peer tutors, and 100% of their ability will be put towards making it positive and successful.
