Today is the last day to place your Purdy's Easter Holiday Order – please visit the online ordering site here: PURDY'S EASTER FUNDRAISING PAGE where you will be prompted to create an account before placing an order.
Delivery and pick-up is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 19th, the last day of school before Spring Break.
Student Learning Survey 2020/2021 – Opportunity for Parent/Guardian/Caregiver Input
The Provincial Student Learning Survey is unique in its scope, size and usefulness to schools. It gathers information from parents/guardians/caregivers, teachers and students on topics related to school environment, safety, and achievement. The information is used for planning in individual schools and provides a district and provincial perspective.
Parents/guardians/caregivers are invited to participate in this survey, as the results are important in identifying and celebrating current strengths, as well as determining where the school needs to focus improvement. The surveys contain standard questions for the Province – in addition, questions from the district that focus on local conditions.
The survey can be completed electronically and can be accessed on the Internet at http://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/sat_survey. Any computer with an Internet connection can be used, and access to the e-survey is simple and secure. The survey can be accessed through the link without an anonymous logon code by selecting the school district and school name where your child attends school. Provincial, District and School Reports for previous years can be viewed at the same site under the Results section.
The e-survey site will be open until April 30th.

Traffic Safety and Back Parking Lot Reminder
Drop off and Pick Up are an ongoing safety concern. I'm asking that parents please be mindful of the following to ensure the safest conditions for our students and children:
1. Use the designated crosswalks. This includes adults.
2. Slow down. School zones are 30km/hr.
3. No U-Turns. Please do not pull U-Turns in front of the school for any reason at any time. It is illegal to do a U-Turn on any road in Coquitlam unless designated.
4. Please keep the Quick Drop Off and Pick Up Zone quick! The by-law states that you have 3 minutes and other people are waiting their turn. We also want to avoid cars swerving around one another.
5. Give pedestrians the right of way. It's the law. This includes at the crosswalks on Poirier and Schoolhouse.
6. Obey the street signs. DO NOT park where there are no parking signs.
