Although this year is going to look and sound a little different around the holiday season, we are going to be celebrating the season with a few special events:

Festive Friday Theme Days

Parkland will be hosting the following Festive Friday Theme Days in December:

• Friday, December 4^th: Festive Holiday Headwear/Hat Day -Students are invited the most festive and fun holiday headwear or hat today

• Friday, December 11^th: Ugly Christmas Sweater/Festive Holiday Wear Day - Students are invited to wear their loudest, most super-festive outfits to celebrate the season
• Friday, December 18^th: Pyjama Day - Students are invited the wear their pyjamas for the last day before Winter Break

Holiday Window Displays

If you're familiar with the downtown Woodward's windows from Vancouver holiday yester year (hopefully I'm not dating myself too much), we will be putting our own Parkland spin on the tradition. Learning groups will be decorating their classroom windows with different themes and displays to be visible to those on the outside. Please look for windows to begin to be magically transformed beginning in the next couple of weeks.

Holiday Trivia Challenge

On the Final Friday, we will be having a holiday themed Trivia Challenge where classes will be competing against each other. Some of the questions will be based on the Holiday Windows so students will be encouraged to study some of the details in the displays in the next few weeks.
