We are so excited to welcome the Gleneagle XSTEAMCon Leadership crew who, under the direction of Mr. Hayes, has made today possible! Rachel, Adam, Maia, Paul, and Yu Xing have been working tirelessly for weeks and since 7am today to get us going!
We've got 8 guest presentations being hosted at Moody today. You've seen their faces scrolling on the TV screens and today, we'll finally meet them in person! Woohoo!
We will also be welcoming some very important guests here to Moody including our two Assistant Superintendents, Mr. Reno Ciolfi and Mr. Carey Chute, School Trustees, Ms. Blatherwick, Ms. Hobson, Mr. Woods, and our MLA, Mr. Fin Donnelly. You'll also see Ms. del Rosario taking photos for our SD43 and Moody social media platforms and websites. What a perfect day to show others how kind, thoughtful and polite we really can be here at Moody!

Safety First
To ensure that our guests arrive safely into our building, please play on the back side of our school avoiding the front of the school. You'll also note that the bell schedule is a little different today. Wind and Earth Pods will need to watch for the signal to line up at 12:25pm to head straight to the gym for an afternoon of amazing STEAM activities! Have fun, everyone!

So many amazing volunteers have been supportive and positive, working hard to put on today's XSTEAMCon event. Thanks to our own Moody leaders in purple shirts who will partner with a Gleneagle Talons leadership student to make sure our day is full of STEAM!

A huge thank you to our community gardeners from each pod who have taken a turn at planting vegetables! The llama pen is finally coming to life!
TALENT SHOW
Are you interested in performing in this year's Talent show on June 3rd? Do you play an instrument? Sing? Dance? Do Magic? It's time to start practicing your act and getting it ready if you are interested in participating.
Auditions will be held for all students who would like to perform. The sign-up sheets for auditions will go up in the main foyer of the school NEXT week. The auditions will take place from May 16th -20th at lunch in the Music Room.
We're looking forward to showcasing all of the amazing talent we have here at Moody Middle!
SPORTS
Badminton: After school today there is Grade 6/7 badminton! If you are in grade 6 or 7, come on down for some game. Please remember you must enter the gym from the outside doors.
