Safety First

We have changed our mask mandate and there is more freedom to get from place to place but we are still being respectful of one another's space! That means a game of tag is fine but a piggyback race is too close for too long!

​R is for Respect
We have boundaries for play to keep us all safe. If you need to step out, please sign out with the permission of your parent when you go home for lunch.

​Hot Lunch
Your parents have now received an email link to order hot lunches through to the end of the year. Order them all now or order your lunch just for April. There are many selections!

​Open Gym
Oh, B.O! Open gym starts up this week. To avoid embarrassment since you don't know when you'll be active or when the weather will warm up and you will be hot and you'll become sweaty, think ahead and pack some deodorant or anti-perspirant in your bag and apply it regularly. Some of us use it through the day! A day is learning is easier when we don't have to worry about being stinky, wet or about our neighbours smelling our body odor and moving far away from us! Your deodorant isn't strong enough, ask Ms. Jung as she's got some for you to try! Welcome to middle school! 

Today and over the past weekend, there were no birthdays but Ms. Jung's niece turned 18!!

Student Leadership
There is a great opportunity coming up for all leadership students and anyone wanting to learn about leadership. 

Friday, April 22 is the Annual SD43 Leadership Conference and again this year, it will be VIRTUAL, that means you can log on from the comfort of your own home!​ This even is in the morning from 9:00-11:30am for all interested middle school students. See the posters around the school for more information and registration QR Code. Parents will need an account with School Cash Online to register. 

The first 100 students to register will receive an awesome Swag Bag filled with goodies from local businesses. There will be an amazing keynote speaker...and loads of door prizes (including a tablet!!)

So, get your name in for this awesome event TODAY.

Cooking Program is today afterschool for the Monday Class. meet downstairs in the home ex room at 3pm
Afterschool basketball today is cancelled due to a staff meeting. Next basketball is Thursday afterschool. 
The Youth Lounge Officially opens today at lunch. We are limited to 20 students. At this time, you can come a maximum 2 times a week. Line up outside the Lounge. No Food is allowed in the lounge. If you decide to go, you stay for the entire lunch period.
