Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First

We are hand washing and sanitizing, we are sitting next to each other rather than across from each other and we are only eating in class in our desks. Please keep your kiwis and apples in class or eat your fruit at home!

R is for Respect

It is a wet day today. Remember to respectfully distance from others and use a borrowed umbrella if you must!

Zones

Please remember that at lunch, you must be in your own zones when the whole school is outside! Earth and Water are in the north playground zone and Fire and Wind are on the south forest side, please!

Wigs for Kids BC is going strong. You may have heard in the news that another $40,000 of wigs was stolen from a shop this week so our donations of hair and money are much needed! Step up and let your teacher know you've got money to donate or hair to donate! There must be at least one person in each of Earth and Wind pods who are willing to donate their hair as well? Ms. Jung will have more details next week!

Candy Grams

Real Acts of Caring are something we pride ourselves for, here at Moody! And you won't want to miss this opportunity to bring a smile to someone special at school, in your community, or at your own home!

For one week, Feb. 3 – 11, you can purchase a Candy Gram for just a $1.00… That's right, just a loonie, to spread a little kindness and show others you care…

And as a BONUS…your generous donations will go to support homeless youth in the Tri-Cities through RainCity Housing.

So bring in your loonies, your classroom teachers have the Candy Gram Cards ready for you to purchase and sign…and once you do…you can look forward to these special messages and treats being handed out on Valentine's Day! Thanks for giving a little extra kindness!​

Happy High Five Friday!!

A special thank you to Isabella from Division 16 for offering to donate her hair. She has also, on her own, raised more than $200 for the cause to support kids with cancer and hair diseases! 

Ms. Turje is getting closer to cutting her hair, too! Her class has raised about $200 already! 

Ms. Paquette had found a student in her class to donate her hair. Thanks, Ava! Isn't it great Mr. Clay is/ I am willing to shave... eeerrrr... cut Ms. Paquette's hair, too!?

Adria deserves a special mention from Division 10. She is going to donate her hair with Ms. Jung, too! Woohoo!!!
