Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First

We are still needing to wear our masks in the building. Some of you are becoming sloppy with keeping yourself and others safe. If you want one that is reusable, ask Ms. Jung! A well fitted mask should not be uncomfortable or cumbersome.

R is for Respect

By choosing to take care of each other and this place, we leave spaces in better condition than before. That applies to common spaces like our classrooms, the bathrooms, the gym and the library.

Pod Shirts

Want a pod shirt? New students and students new to a pod will receive new pod shirts by Christmas! If you want another or a new pod shirt, they are for sale at $12. Parents can purchase a shirt for students using school cash online. The Moody wear store will be open soon, too! You can get hoodies, shorts, bottoms and more!

Today is fruit and veggie day! We'll get mandarin oranges today!

13 Days of Moody

Today, we begin to feature some of our staff who have chosen to work in schools! 

Ms. De Groot has always loved being surrounded by a community of learners! She loved Mr. Epp in high school. His passion for reusable energy and ensuring his students did not waste anything has stuck with her because she, too, is conscious of being more green in her daily actions. Her favourite teacher is remembered for not even wasting scrap paper, using every part and both sides of the paper!

Mr. Abello became a teacher because he was inspired by his science teacher, Mr. Botsford, who always had fun and exciting science experiments for his students to do. Looking back, Mr. Abello now realizes Mr. Botsford was also a very friendly and caring person. He was a big inspiration to him. 

Mr. Abello's name is at the start of the alphabet so he was always chosen for random jobs which has led him to be an amazing leader. He was valedictorian at his Bachelor of Education graduation and while at university, joined as many sports as he could including basketball, volleyball, rubgy and the ski club!
