Welcome to our new guests today: Ms. Goodman, and Ms. Reena. Hope you all get a taste of our warm Moody welcome!
Reminders from Ms. Jung:
We are adhering to the basics with our mask wearing and hand washing when our teachers tell us but how well are we able to make decisions for ourselves about when to physically distance? In effect, we should be physically distanced as much as possible from others at all times, in class, in line ups and when playing outside! If you are bumping into someone, you are much too close. If you are playing with someone else's hair, you have neglected to physically distance. On the other hand, if you are waiting to pass by another learning group and have taken a step back when waiting, you are being respectful and aware. If you play tag and you are very briefly near someone else with a quick and gentle touch outside, this is better than linking arms and walking side by side for extended periods of time. No one said this would be easy so we appreciate that you are staying the course and keeping your distance with your masks on properly.
Dress Sense:
Yesterday, Mr. Clay talked about having dress sense. We are expected to work when at school and to be able to move comfortably when at school. We are all expected to choose our dress responsibly and respectfully so we all feel safe, too! Now that is just good common sense!
Gauss Contest:
Ms. Jung will be coming around with permission forms for students who are signed up for the Gauss Math Contest which will take place on May 12th. If you do not get anything, please check in with Ms. Jung by email or see her at lunch outside!
**Reminder there is a Yearbook Team meeting after school today at 4 P.M. The link will be posted on the Yearbook Team.
