Please help us welcome our special guests to Moody today! They are Ms. McClellan who will be here next week as well, Ms. Twohig, and Mr. Phillips!

Reminder:

There is a lunchtime drop-in for students to work on their yearbook pages. Check the meeting notes on the yearbook Team to find out if your page still needs some work and if it does please plan on coming to the drop in to work on it.

Reminders from Ms. Jung:

Mask wearing is commonplace in all areas now including in our learning groups and outside. Thank you for remembering to mask up properly except when eating and when less than 2m away from others. This includes moving into our lunch line ups outside, when playing four square and when lined up to use the washrooms.

Yesterday, we not only showed that practicing for our drills paid off, but that it is important to dress appropriately so we are warm outside and inside, calm, so we are aware of our surroundings and quiet so we are able to hear important announcements.  Yesterday in particular, our staff rose to the occasion and our students rose to the occasion at the helm of Mr. Clay. Thank you all!

Mr. Clay, Ms. Jung, Christine and Ms. Armstrong here at the office as well as your teachers are always here for you should you need to check in. Just ask!

Be kind. Be calm, Be safe. Our community has reflected this really nicely and for that , I am so proud of us all! Thank you so much!

If you are interested, there is a new Beethoven concert being released tonight at 7:30 as part of the VSO concert series! Jane Coop plays piano land she is an amazing long time local talent who is internationally recognized!!

Math Lovers!

Are you in grade 7 or 8 and you love math? There is a Gauss (rhymes with mouse) contest coming up on April 23! Start practicing now with past years' contests! Let your teacher know you want more information from Ms. Jung! Now that just adds up to lots of fun!
