- Yearbook Cover Art contest - Friday is the last day to get your entries in for the yearbook cover contest. We have some great entries so far, so make sure you get yours in. You don't want to miss the chance of having your artwork featured on the cover of the yearbook!
- Our Terry Fox Fundraiser for the school year 2020-21 has completed. It was a different, yet successful, year for our school and for fundraising for the Terry Fox Foundation. In total we raised $2130 for cancer research! We would like to thank all our EMMSOTA community for your donations. I know the Terry Fox Foundation will be very thankful for everything you do.
We also wanted to highlight a student from each division. As well as the fundraising, each class selected one student who embodied the ideals, attitude and values that Terry Fox demonstrated 40 years ago. Please give a big congratulations to these students who received the “Be Like Terry" recognition! Halloween Events Announcement!
! I think it's about time for some Fall fun! Don't you? So…the Leadership Team has organized 2 Halloween Activities for you to enjoy😊
And with only four more days until Halloween, I hope you have a costume ready! I know I do!
The first event is a Halloween Costume Contest – Each class will vote on the top 3 costumes to win a prize, and then…just before lunch, we will celebrate with a Costume Carousel on TEAMS!
There will also be a Guessing Jar Contest – Each student in the school will try to guesstimate how many candies fill up the glass skull, when it comes around to their classroom.
The person in each classroom who guesses the closest will get a special treat and the person in each Pod who guesses the closest will win All the Halloween candy in the skull!
The count down to Halloween Fun has begun…just 3 more sleeps…
We look forward to seeing some amazing costumes!
