A great game yesterday with the grade 8s against the teachers. It was a close game but the teachers won with a score of 45 to 36. Congrats to the teachers for keeping the streek alive.
Gr 7 & 8 boys basketball teams practice today after school. All players need to attend to pick up game schedules.
Asian Lunar New Year of the Rat! This is a special time of year for Asians such as Chinese and Koreans and especially our International students who celebrate the Asian Lunar New Year! We will be celebrating with lucky red envelopes, candy, cleaning and dumplings! If you were born in 2008, 1996, 1984, 1972, 1960, or 1948, you are a clever, quick thinking rat who is good at saving!
Ambassadors of Moody Middle Did you know that even when you are not at school, you represent our school? Many of you are wearing Moody wear so people who don't know you can figure out where you go to school! Please be kind, helpful, patient and good at listening and following instructions. Sometimes people jump to conclusions about youth because they see one person not being their best. Let's give others a reason to celebrate youth and especially, EMMSOTA students and those of you who are going to secondary schools for a tour today! Many of your questions will be answered today but not all and that's all right! Have fun and be mindful, (not mindless). Be present and be good ambassadors of EMMSOTA!
