Food, Food, Glorious FOOD!!!!
The SHARE Food Bank NEEDS our help to stock their Christmas Hampers!
The 12 Days of Giving Food Collection Contest is on, and goes until December 18th...
So please donate! See if you have any food in your cupboards that has not expired and bring it in; each class has a gift wrapped box in their classroom to fill up.
If you need ideas...The THEME FOOD for tomorrow is CANNED FRUIT - any type - but any non-perishable food donation is appreciated!
On the 1st day of collecting, FIRE POD is in the LEAD, with over 10 food items collected!
Watch the Reindeer Posters go up in your pod to keep track of how you are doing!
How much food can we collect, Moody?
Thanks for giving generously!
* Immunization The nurses are here for Immunizations so the Multi-Purpose Room is
closed to students for the day! Science is such an amazing thing – such a small
act protects us so well! AMAZING!
* Locker Bay Areas Tip #9 is a reminder that having a clean locker makes packing
and unpacking swift and efficient! Get rid of rotting food and we’ll keep away
the pests that Ms Walling loves so much!
* Outside Day! Every day is an outside day. Dress appropriately, get some fresh
air, get the blood pumping and re-energize your brain for learning! Activity is
good for your heart and soul! It’s quieter outside, too!
Some time this week, there will
be a movie featured in the MPR. Stay tuned or ask Steve for
details! Is there Open Gym at lunch? Stop by and find out!
* Need
Student Volunteers Core teachers, please send two strong students to the
office immediately after these announcements to pick up your Daily ArtStarts
bins and sketchbooks! In the coming weeks, we, as a whole school, will begin
working on building our capacity to learn by engaging in 10 minutes of quiet
and mindful creating in our own personal sketchbooks. Thanks to Mr. Clay for
funding this amazing opportunity!
