  • Tad Milmine On Friday, we heard a powerful presentation from Tad - powerful because his message to end bullying is a real one for him and we are fortunate that he turned his dreams into reality and was here to speak with us. He encouraged us to think about how “positive change begins with me." “Positive change begins with me." To this end, Ms Jung put this into action by asking us to reflect on what we could “start, stop and continue" in our effort to end bullying and to end mean behaviour. Let's choose to make a difference by doing the right thing. There are extra cards of his in the office – see Ms Jung or Ms Armstrong if you have questions. There is much hope and promise in Tad's drive to end bullying.
  • Locker Bay Areas The main floor locker bay is especially crowded after school. Tip #4 today for staying safe in this area is to be mindful of the space around you. Tucking your legs in as you're by a bottom locker is helpful so there is more space to walk is safer for everyone. Otherwise, you can please enter and exit the school from the front foyer or the gathering place stairs across from the office! Thanks for making this space safer for all!
  • Outside Day! It's still a good day to head outside as it's good for your ear health because it is at least 40 decibels quieter outside! There are several dry spots to eat lunch as long as you clean up and recycle afterwards, please!
  • No Tech Breaks! This is a friendly reminder that we have a no tech policy during breaks and in the change rooms. You should only need to bring out your device whether it's a phone, tablet,  or laptop if your teacher requests it of you!

  • Open Gym and Movie Time are coming! As volleyball wraps up, stay tuned for open gym! We are also bringing back the tradition of movies in the cafeteria at lunch. Look to Steve if you are curious what will be featured next!

  • Morning Music If you guessed the three themes correctly, you may be a winner! The most obvious theme was “Hello - Farewell" in line with our morning hellos that staff have been encouraging us to say as we make eye contact and smile at one another! The others are that the songs were in alphabetical order, and the female artists were presented before the male artists every day. Thanks for playing along! If you won a prize, see Ms Taylor-Hill in the office at Nut Break!

Congratulations to Camila in Div. 2, Vania in Div. 3, Mamak in Div. 10, Kevin in Div. 14 and Mr. Chambers who had the most creative School of the Arts kind of response as staff were not as close as students were! WIND POD, please keep your guesses coming as you only had 3 entries!
