How loud is too loud? Ms Jung has been testing the noise level in the main foyer at various times throughout the day. Our building is beautiful but acoustically (A-coo-sti-kally), it has not been designed to absorb sound very well so we are in the process of making some changes that will absorb more sound. The noises from students are mostly in the “above normal" or 85 decibel range but especially at lunch, the sound was over 100 decibels. 100 decibels is too loud! Outside, it was only between 50-60 decibels mostly. For your hearing health, consider spending more time outside! The fresh air is beneficial, too! See you outside during breaks!

Hot Lunch! is back next week! If you missed out on the Subway lunch, remind your parents that orders need to be placed on Munch-a-lunch before midnight this Saturday. Fresh Slice pizza is on the menu!

I Heart Transit Week! Transit BC is promoting I Heart Transit Week! Please consider taking transit to school and walking the last leg of the journey to school! You are being challenged to take transit as it is free for students all week so put away your compass cards for one week. Enjoy the change of scenery!
