Yearbook Contest - Are you an artist, painter, drawer or designer?  We are looking for a Moody artist to create our yearbook cover!  The top design will be featured on the cover of this year's yearbook.  Other submissions may be featured throughout the yearbook on other pages.  Submit your drawing to Ms. Walling by November 1st!

Cross Country meet:  today after school @ Mundy Park.  Please see Mme. Wainwright (Rm 216) re rides at lunch.  This is our final mini meet before the district finals next week!  Go Moody Go! 

Gr 7 girls Volleyball:   we have practice today after school.  Please be changed and ready for practice @ 3pm

Field Hockey  Our second Field Hockey game on Friday against Eagle Mountain was exciting! This week's MVP was Jihee who has really taken the sport by storm! Her athleticism was key as she worked hard to pass the ball to Daria who has always been a solid forward or defenseman on the field! Michael's first ever game showed he has what it takes to defend Moody's post! Way to go, Moody! See you tomorrow with your mouth guards and sticks for our after school practice at 3:15pm!

Student Vote:  Next Thursday, we will be having a student vote at Moody Middle to coincide with the Municipal Election our parents and adults in our community will be taking part in on October 20^th! Please look in your neighbourhood for the large signs indicating who is running and what positions these individuals are choosing to run for! They will have ideas about how to support our communities so that we can feel safe, have spaces to play and learn! Do you agree with their ideas?

Taking care of this place - Let's continue to be R.E.S.P.E.C.T.ful by making our school look, feel and sound like a safe place to play and learn together. Have you noticed that on rainy days, the floors get slick? Please take a moment to shuffle shuffle and stomp stomp as you come in the outer doors. When at the water fountains, please drink, stop, drip and then walk so the floors are not so slick. Thank you!

Locker Visits -  Learning is important at Moody so let's take better care to prepare for class while at our lockers with plenty of time to spare before school, after nut break and after lunch. Students, carry everything you need for each set of classes, even when you have gym along with another class or are walking by your locker! Thank you!
