Announcements – Wednesday 4 October 2017

October 04, 2017

Music today "Alberta Bound" by Gordon Lightfoot and "Nova Scotia Home" by Hank Snow.

BBQ treat day – Friday at Lunch.

Walk and Wheel – Dash BC has cool prizes that Ms. Jung will be ordering for the team who has the most walkers and wheelers to school during this Walk to School week.  Thursday is the day we will count totals in each class.  To count, you must stop by the front foyer to get your tattoo as you walk or wheel to school.  Good luck, everyone!  Stay tuned to hear what the prizes are.  What a great way to gear up for the Terry Fox run on Friday.

Terry Fox Pledges – Please keep your Terry Fox pledges coming in. Wind Pod is in the lead with Mr. Zimmer's class on the top.  Sorry Earth Pod.  The grand total so far is $1100.00. Remember that each $10 raised by you counts as a ticket towards pie-ing a staff member of your choice.  Make a list of 10 people to reach out to and get on that this weekend.

Challenge Class - Our first challenge class with Mrs. Andersen is today during BRICK in the Learning Support Centre – room 107.  Challenge classes take place the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month

Project Change – tomorrow afterschool, Project Change will get together for our first meeting.  Project Change is a club open to all students who are interested in environmental issues.  This is a club for you.  See Christine for information.

Swim Club – practice today.  It's our LAST ONE before the District Meet next Friday.  Coaches Pillsbury and Egelstad look forward to seeing you all there.

Field Hockey – practice today at 3:15. Bring your mouth guard and stick.
