Social responsibility message regarding Halloween - Please select or create a costume that is appropriate for school and our community. Costumes should not sexualize children or glamorize things such as gang lifestyles. Students are not to bring accessories to school such as swords, wands, guns or anything handheld. Also this year, due to current events, students will not be allowed to wear clown costumes at school, whether scary, funny or otherwise. As it has not been a popular costume choice for students over the last few years at EMMSOTA anyway we trust this will not be a problem.
