Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First

Keeping organized with all our belongings in a secure spot such as under our desk is a good thing during the day and then in a chair at night. Why carry things home if you do not need it? If a bin will make life easier, see Ms. Jung! Being organized allows our caretakers to clean all surfaces at least once a day!

R is for Respect

When we have visitors in the class, be kind and do it for your core teacher. You make life better for them when they are away knowing they can come back to work with good news and less stress about following up with unnecessary behaviour challenges. We can all do it, all the time!

13 Days of Moody!

It's day 3 of our teacher's stories! 

Mme LeBlanc has wanted to be a teacher since she was 5! She is perfect for the role because she is organized, passionate about working with kids and enjoys teaching new things to others. We can envision her as a teacher's pet because she always finished her work early which allowed her time to help her teacher with photocopying, stapling booklets and handing out worksheets! High school included Yearbook, soccer and badminton!

Mr. Zenone has been here just a few months but we've quickly figured out he has a passion for all things middle in Water Pod! Mr. Zenone loved his grade 10 and 11 socials teacher who lectured and told stories! After high school, Mr. Zenone worked in construction but through his love for coaching and volunteering, discovered working with youth was much more rewarding! Can you imagine him as an auctioneer for a school-wide French auction when he was in grade 10?! He got his start in front of students really early on!

Volleyball

Reminder Grade 7 Volleyball last play is today at lunch. It's our wrap up so be there if you can!

Birthdays

Today, Happy Birthday to Glyn. This weekend, Happy Birthday to Alyssa, Miriam, Pavel, Serena and one of our own, Ms. Leonard! Hope you all enjoy your special day!

Library Helpers

There is a meeting at lunch today for any library helpers who missed the training session last week. If you can't make it today, please see Ms. Leonard today to arrange an alternate day to come in for training.

Diwen and Emily are good friends. They knew to look out for Charlotte and Chloe, and aren't afraid to ask questions!

Ms. Domingo finished her progress reports early because today is her last day before she heads off for maternity leave. Thank you!! See you next year and best of luck with your little bundle of joy, Mom!
