Monty TALKS Review– This past Friday we completed our second Monty TALKS presentation with nine students taking on the challenge of presenting in their chosen format an area of passion and interest that is special to them. Each of our classes were able to join in on three presentations that were spread throughout our school and just like in a TED Talks the topics were wide ranging and eclectic. We would like to thank the following students for their creative work determined attitude and for taking a risk to share their interest with others in a medium that can be quite demanding – a stand and deliver your topic with visual aids and kinesthetic engagement.
The students and their topics were:
Bailey H. – Magic, Madi L. – Human Body, Matthew C. – Baseball, Lara B. – Saving Paper
Khushi J. – Child Mental Health, Tiana G. – Violin, Marissa A. – Biology, Aylee M. – Dance
Griffin C. – Saxophone.
A special thank you to Mr. C. Chan for his work and preparation of our presenters over the past weeks as they all contributed to a very successful Monty TALKS session.
