Remembrance Day Assembly – We invite all to join us for our ceremony this Thursday Nov. 10th @ 9:30 in our school gym. This will be our students honouring through their creative efforts the importance of this day and how they as young people, far removed from the influences and atrocities of war, can still extend their understanding and empathy to the many lives of our elders and to the ones who have helped make Canada a great place for all and the destination for many of today's refugees seeking safety, compassion and opportunity. We will have a guest speaker to share their personal insights of war and of serving for one's country. We would like to thank in advance the organizing of this event by our Exploration Team of Mr. Magistrale, Mrs. Hutchinson, Mr. De Vita and Mrs. Rains along with the many students who have practiced and given of their time to share in this honour of Canadian history and our future leadership.
