KID’S CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY MARKET 2015

Montgomery Middle will be hosting its 6th annual Christmas Market throughout the day on Friday, November 27th.  Students will have an opportunity to shop for unbelievably priced gifts for family and friends and gifts will be wrapped and ready to go under the tree when your child comes home.  We all have the opportunity to clear out those things we don’t really use any more, re-gift those lovely, but not really you, items you’ve received over the years and donate those ornaments you no longer have room for on the tree or that wrap, tissue paper and gift bags you’re tired of seeing year after year. 

     The Christmas Market is made possible with 100% donated items and 100% of the money earned goes to support Christmas charities in the community. A great opportunity to make our children aware, that not everyone enjoys a wonderful dinner and gifts under the tree on their Christmas Day.

     Full details of the Market will come home in mid-November but now is a great time to set a box aside and start filling it with items you think someone else could use and love.  Cups, mugs, toiletries, books, golf balls, toys, puzzles, games, aprons, ornaments, picture frames, DVD’s, CD’s, candles, the possibilities are endless and don’t forget the gift bags, wrap and tissue paper.  

     Many volunteers are needed to make this event a success from sorting donated items prior to the event, to manning a table or working at the gift wrapping centre.  It is an amazing day to watch the faces of your children as they find that perfect gift for you and so heartwarming to know how many people this one day will benefit.  Mark your calendar so you can be part of the experience.
