The Fall Sports have wrapped up for this year! We thank all students who participated in Volleyball, Cross-Country, Field Hockey & Swimming! Also a very gracious Thank You to our Coaches: Mme. O'Neill, Mme Manton, Mme. Mannavarayan, Ms. Sedlacek, Mme Deacon, Ms. Houle, , Mr. Yuen, Mr. Mak, Mr. Kennedy & Mr. Lau, and to all of our parent volunteers who were able to help us make this a very successful season! Special mention goes to our Grade 8 Girls Cross Country members for placing 2nd and the Grade 8 Girls Volleyball team for placing 2nd among the Middle School's in School District 43! *Please ensure fall sports team members have returned their jersey's direct to their coaches!*
Maillard is gearing up for our Winter sports season. This year, students have the opportunity to participate in wrestling and basketball after the Winter Break. Students should keep an "ear" out for announcements about when to sign-up will begin for these sports (typically just before Winter Break or just after we return).
Also, a reminder to parents that if your child is participating in school sport at any time during this school year, the one-time $20 School Athletic Fee is due at the office. Please contact Ms. Brookes at jbrookes@sd43.bc.ca if you would like to check if you have already paid for the Sports fee.
