Spring has sprung and Irvinites are showing off their green thumbs! Mme Howard's class planted daffodils way back in October and they have bloomed in all their glory on the front lawn of the school. They were so pretty that it appears that some of our neighbours may have cut themselves a bouquet. What a compliment! Division 11 is also in the process of moving their potato plant jungle to the cage. Check out the muscles on the three girls featured below carrying that big heavy tub of spud plants! Mrs. Thacker and Mme Lalande brought their kindergarten classes outside to get started on their "Kinder Garden" as well! They layered their big white planted with everything needed to make their composting garden a success, then they set to work moving all that dirt into the planter. We are looking forward to seeing what they will plant.
