With Halloween approaching, please find some helpful reminders below.
Thursday is Black and Orange day where students may wear black and orange if they wish.
Friday is Halloween and although Halloween is not a holiday, it is acknowledged and celebrated in various ways. Students will be able to wear their costumes from lunch onward. Please leave all accessories at home as they might get lost or broken here at school (no masks, tiaras, crowns or weapons). Parents may come to the school during lunch time, to assist their child with his or her costume. As per Hampton Park tradition, we will have a Halloween Parade at 1:15 p.m., where everyone is welcome to attend. Students will be dismissed at regular time on Friday.
As Halloween comes and goes, the month of November falls upon us. This is a more solemn month. We will have our Remembrance Day assembly on Friday, November 7th with start time to be announced. As always, families are welcome and we ask that small children remain with their parents/guardians during the entire assembly which will be approximately 45 minutes in duration.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Banks
