Student schedules are now ready for viewing. Please note that the school may still need to make changes to some schedules before classes begin, in order to meet class size and composition needs. It is important to check your schedule again on Tuesday, Sept 7th to confirm your classes. At that time, your schedule will also show teacher names and room numbers. You may view your schedule in your MyEd account. If you have trouble logging in, please contact the office at gleneagle@sd43.bc.ca or 604-464-5793. Counsellors are not able to help you with your MyEd account.
Counsellors have gone through each schedule individually and made corrections and adjustments where possible. Many classes are full so it is not always possible for students to have their first choice of courses, and sometimes semesters cannot be balanced for academic load. If your schedule is missing a course in a certain block, it is because of schedule conflicts, full classes, or lack of viable alternates on your course selection sheet. Counsellors are aware of these schedules and will contact those students the week before school begins to choose another course.
Students were asked to choose courses carefully in February and had the opportunity to requests changes in March. That information was the basis for timetable and staffing assignment decisions. Now that those decisions have been made, changes to schedules are very limited. Requests to make changes now will only be considered when they meet specific criteria, as outlined in this form: https://forms.office.com/r/RRc8CFfUkQ . If you require a change that meets these criteria, please ensure you submit this form by 12 pm, Monday, August 30th. No course changes will be handled through email. Counsellors will follow up on the requests that were submitted through the form when they return to work after August 30th. Please do not email your counsellor as they are now on holidays for the summer and will not be responding to email.
Students are reminded that course change requests are NOT to be communicated through email. Go back to the email sent in the morning of July 13th to read the instructions and click on the link to MS Forms. If you email your counsellor, there will not be any follow-up. You must use the link to MS Forms.
