​There are many leadership opportunities for students at Glen Elementary.  We are looking for responsible Grade 5 students to help with the following positions:

1. Office Monitoring- Grade 5 ​students receive training for this role late September. If there are more applications than spaces available classroom teachers will assist with selecting students. Successful applicants must be responsible, able to speak clearly and confidently on the telephone and take a written message. Please speak with Ms Gordon for more information.

2. Peace Squad​ - Responsible Grade 4 and 5 students are nominated by classroom teachers. The Peace Squad members have two main tasks with students in grades K-3; first, they help students resolve conflict peacefully and second, they help students find a friend or an activity. Peace Squad members can be found in the playground or forest at lunch time and are recognizable by the rainbow scarves they wear.
