Greetings from Centennial,
Now that your summer is well underway, we invite you to read the year-end newsletter. It can be found on our school website, or by clicking this link: http://www.sd43.bc.ca/secondary/centennial/Publications/June%202016%20Newsletter%20_.pdf
Coming soon in the Centennial Community…
- Meet and Greet with our very own Olympian, Shallon Olsen (Grade 11 student next year). Before she travels to Rio, you can meet her and wish her luck as she represents Canada in the Olympic Games this August. The location and time are Omega Gymnastics, this coming Saturday July 16th from 11am to 1pm.
- September 1st is our orientation day for new Grade 9 students. More information will come in our August newsletter, but please reserve the time of 10am to 12pm on Sept 1 if you are entering Grade 9.
- Moving day for the new school will come in two parts:
- Tech Ed classes are moving right now. They will begin the year in September in the new building!
- The rest of our classes will not move until the building is completely finished. This is projected for late fall, 2016.
- September 6th is our first day of school for the 2016-2017 school year. Please plan on attending registration & photo day which are both on September 6th. No-shows run the risk of having to be re-timetabled and potentially losing their spots in chosen electives.
