Hello Gr. 12 parents,

Please read the attached letter from school board chair Judy Shirra, and please have a discussion with your son or daughter about its content.  Over the years at Centennial, our Gr. 12’s have been exemplary citizens in the last weeks and days of school, and we expect nothing less from our group this year.  They have had an excellent final stretch so far, and we would expect them to finish the year in a positive, festive manner, and with an appropriate celebratory tone.  Graduates who disrupt the learning environment, and who engage in vandalism or criminal behavior will likely forfeit their participation in graduation activities.  We have not had these major issues at Centennial for a very long time, as we know that our students are clear about what is socially responsible, and we know that they also love their school and respect their peers and the staff.
