Centennial Cares Christmas Food Drive
Centennial School will once again be creating Christmas Hampers for over 30 families in our community. These hampers will provide much needed food; household items and grocery cards for families who would otherwise go without. Centennial has a long history of generous giving to our Christmas hamper drive. Let’s keep that tradition going. Please give as generously as you are able! We will be collecting non-perishable food items and basic household consumables (paper towel, dish soap etc.) in our block 2 classrooms. Cash donations will also be gladly received and used to buy grocery cards so that families can buy some perishable items as well. Donation collections will run from November 24 – December 5, 2014. Please bring your donation to your block 2 class. Donations can also be left at the main office.
Our school-wide goal is 10,000 food items – WE CAN DO IT!!!
As a school, we hope to bring in 10,000 food items – yes you read that correctly 10,000 food items. We CAN do it! If the school manages to raise the 10,000 food items then students will see some added exciting activities and perhaps even a surprise or two at the School-wide Christmas Assembly on Friday, December 19, 2014
