Welcome to Ecole Pitt River Community Middle School

Pitt River Middle School officially opened as a middle school in September of 1996. Prior to the district reorganization, this building served as Mary Hill Junior Secondary School from September of 1964.

With its new name, the staff of Pitt River Middle were looking for a new identity. It is often said that education is an adventure and a journey, and so it should be. Acquiring new information and learning new skills opens doors and exposes endless possibilities. The name Voyageurs was adopted to represent the journey and adventure Pitt River Middle School students were about to begin.

We are incredibly proud of everything that makes up the fabric of Pitt River Middle School.  It is an amazing place!
