Extracurricular activities provide a great opportunity for students to make new friends and develop a sense of belonging. We hope they will learn many meaningful lessons that come from being involved in a school club. Our school offers the following clubs:

Como Lake Middle School’s Me-to-We Club

This club is committed to helping "children help children through education" around the world.  The club meets weekly to share and plan ways to help others.  Check out  the  Free the Children site for more information about the organization.

             Our school's sponsors are Ms. Sarah Boudreau, Ms. Pam Leung, Ms. Liana Honeysett, and Ms. Tracy Hall.

Quilt Club

                                      
                                           
In Quilting Club students experience the pleasure of sewing and also sharing and caring for others.  Students sew something for themselves, such as the pillow top shown above, and also make baby quilts for premature babies.  These quilts are donated to the premie ward in a local hospital which sends one home with each premature baby.

            The Quilting Club's sponsor is Mrs. Marlene Fox with assistance from Mrs. Marilyn Bowerman.
