Documentation required: In accordance with the School Act Section 82, Ministry of Education funding policy:
Basically: if the parent and student are BC residents - then a birth certificate or passport for both parent and child is required, one of the documents from Residency Documentation #1, two items from Residency Documentation #2 AND
guardianship: paper birth certificate (parents are named) or income tax statement (children are declared) or other government documation which names parents/children
If the STUDENT is a BC resident: (one of the following is required)

Work Permit valid for a year or more AND proof of employment (minimum 20 hours/week) and passport

Study permit valid for a year or more AND letter of acceptance or transcript showing enrolment in a degree or
diploma
granting program at a public post secondary institution or enrolent in degree granting program at a private post secondary instiution authorized by the BC Ministry of Advanced Education A ND passport
(permit cannot be for high school upgrading or ESL)
