Action Plan for Learning

Each year, our school is required to develop an Action Plan for Learning (APL). The APL is a framework for reporting student learning and school goals that are most relevant to our school community. A committee analyzes data collected in the areas of Classroom Assessments Based on Teacher Judgment, School-Based Assessment and Provincial Data to make decisions about goals we want to achieve. An evidence of change report measures progress toward achievement of those goals.

The APL document below is a work in progress. Feel free to explore it at anytime keeping in mind that it may not be completed until June. ** The staff is currently finishing off the 2009/10 APL, while at the same time beginning the 2010-11APL, so pieces are being edited daily to adjust the preliminary information. Tables and data currently there are not reflected in  the 2010 plan because that plan is not yet in effect.
