Recycling

Hello students, teachers, and other members of our Eagle Ridge community! As some of you already know, Eagle Ridge is big on recycling.  You can expect recycled juice boxes, recycled papers, and compost.

The juice box recycling project is something the kids do themselves - not the staff, the kids. Groups of children do recycling on a daily basis. Each day the kids come together and do their assigned job for the day. Mr. Perry-Bater has been behind this whole thing and has helped us make it successful! Thanks to Mr. Perry-Bater the juice box recycling project has probably made a big difference to the earth.

Everyone uses paper each day, but why not use it with some respect for the earth? Each child in our community recycles almost every paper they’ve used and don’t need. Most of the time the kids are not reminded to recycle, they just naturally do it. The children have done such an excellent job at keeping the school grounds and earth environmentally friendly.

So I hope you’ve learned something about our school and we all hope that you have decided to go green. If you have been environmentally friendly and still are then the earth thanks you! Members of the staff are so proud of what they are seeing! The children have made so much effort to keep the school green, although sometimes we tend to litter we can always change that!  Remember REUSE, REDUCE, RECYCLE!
