Central Community Elementary is a Kindergarten to Grade 5 Elementary School located five blocks from Port Coquitlam’s downtown core.

It’s committed staff provides exceptional instruction, guidance, and support to students from a broad range of socio-economic levels and cultural backgrounds.

Central’s inner city designation is supported by a Ministry grant that provides assistance for a school meals program and the services of a Youth Worker.

Please note that Central is a scent-free school.

                   The bell schedule is:
                                      8:40 am school entry
                                      8:45 am classes begin 
                                      10:15 am recess begins
                                      10:30 am recess ends 
                                      11:50am lunch
                                      12:35 pm school entry 
                                       2:45 pm dismissal 

            Student Safety:

1. Visitors: We ask all visitors to please report to the main office first before entering
the school.

2. Parking Lot and Drop off: We ask parent drivers to cooperate with the school in the
interest of safety of our children by:
• demonstrating extreme caution at all times.
• No parking in the handicap zone or bus area.
