At Birchland Elementary (K-5)  in S.D. 43 (Coquitlam) classes and programs are organized to provide each child, including those with special needs,  with successful experiences, appropriate challenges, and a sense of achievement. 

There is an emphasis on Early Literacy and Family Literacy in our Birchland learning community. 

We welcome parent involvement in the school and believe that, when working together, we can provide the most successful educational experience for students.
