The Ministry has announced a change to the Education Guarantee.  Eligible school age and non-graduated adults can continue to register for tuition free learning in all high school and Foundations Literacy Courses.

Beginning May 1, 2012 students who have graduated and are 19 years of age or older (Graduated Adults) may take (tuition-free) any Literacy Foundations Courses, Math 11 and 12, Physics 11, Chemistry 11, Biology 12 and English 12. 

·        Students who have graduated and are 19 years or older (Graduated Adult) can pay a tuition of $500.00 (includes a $100 refundable deposit - conditions apply)  to enroll in all other high school credit courses offered by Coquitlam Open Learning and Continuing Education.

Learn English with Free Foundations Classes 

Thursday evening registration and assessment  

Ongoing registration Thursday, January to March 8th, 2012, 4-7pm

Students who want to improve their English and are not ready for high school credit courses can register in person for Foundations courses that will help build language skills.

To register students take a language assessment at Montgomery Centre to be placed in the correct Foundations class. See registration information before coming to register or call Montgomery Centre 604 936 4261 for more information.

Please note that as of January 2012 all Foundations classes at CLOC are full.

Vocational Programs

Coquitlam Continuing Education offers a wide variety of vocational programs and courses. Our Certificate programs are comprehensive learning opportunities which prepare you for specific workplace environments.

Students can also register for individual classes in business, computing, and more to meet either their personal or professional learning needs.

CE High School Credit Courses

Coquitlam Continuing Education offers many academic, high school credit courses.  Students can take face-to-face classes or take courses online through Coquitlam Open Learning or self-paced through our CLOC learning centre.  Classes are available in many different locations and include both daytime or evening options.
